Become a Content Partner & Teach for OWBS!

Here are a few answers to what will likely be your first questions:

Timing: What are my deadlines? How much time will this take?

Our plan/hope is to release two new series a month. Once we confirm you are in, we will assign deadlines and pick the best release date. We are super flexible and can work around whatever schedule is best for you. So, if you are ready to launch in 30 days and can get it all turned around, that’s great! If you need three months, six months, or a year, that’s totally fine, too!

Who has taught before?

One of my absolute favorite parts about OWBS is that it provides a platform for women–with all “levels” of platforms–to have a place to use their gifts. You know full well that women have far fewer opportunities to use our gift of teaching, and I love that OWBS gives women another avenue to share with others.

Will I get paid?

It’s up to you! We aren’t able to pay our speakers for their content; however, we have tried to be as generous as we can with our affiliate partnership. You will get 50% from every person who signs up via your link which you’ll be able to set up once you are confirmed! We can be FAR more generous by giving you 50% than if we paid you a flat rate–see below!

How does the 50% commission work when you become an Affiliate Partner? The OWBS Membership Rate is $15/month or $99/annually. You will get $7.50/month or $49.50/year immediately for each woman who becomes a member with your unique link for as long as they stay members!!! If they stay members for a month, a year or 10 years, you will keep receiving commission! 🥳

If you need an example, here’s how it works if they select the monthly membership: If 50 women sign up, you will get $375/month (50 x $7.50). If all of them stay as members, by the end of the year, you’ve made $4,500, and all you did was do what you love–teach God’s Word, submit the videos, and share about it!

You will likely be able to get more than 50 women to sign up since they get a FREE WEEK TRIAL (so they have nothing to lose), and we equip you with all you need–social media graphics, content, etc. If more than 50 women sign up, here’s what you could earn:

100 women → $750/each month, which is $9,000/year

250 women → $1,875/each month, which is $22,500/year

500 women → $3,750/each month, which is $45,000/year

Here’s how it works, if they do the annual membership. You’ll get this commission immediately, not spread out over the year, and then again when they automatically renew each year. Even though it has been a year since you last shared with them, you’ll get this 50% commission AGAIN: 

10 women → $495 (anyone can do this!)

50 women → $2,475

100 women → $4,950/year

250 women → $12,375/year

500 women → $24,750/year

Also, we make it super easy for you to promote and give you all of the promotional assets — videos, images and copy options — you simply need to share this with your friends and followers!

This differs from the flat rate payment you would typically receive. However, because of how we’ve been able to structure this, we found a way to be far more generous long term for you! 🙌

Are there any other benefits to being a Teaching Content Partner for OWBS?

We want to do EVERYTHING we can to support you best and help not just our members, but those who follow us on social media and who we have email access. 

Your session includes a section that helps our members connect further with you. They'll see your bio, headshot, and then as many links as you'd like to provide (social media, website, products, etc.).

In addition, we often share content on our social platforms that we will tag you in. We also email all our subscribers about newly released content and back sessions to watch again. 

What do I teach/what will my series topic be?

This is entirely up to you! As mentioned, you'll pick your topic once you decide what to commit to. This can be WHATEVER you’d like–topical or exegetical. It can be about a new book or product you are releasing or something God’s teaching you. I want you to teach from wherever you’d like.

If you aren’t sure, someone on our team is happy to discuss what might be the best topic for you via a short Zoom, text, voice text, Voxer, or Marco Polo. You can teach something exegetical (working your way through a portion of scripture) or keep it topical. The only thing is that it MUST be a Bible study–women should feel like they know more about the Word, God, and how to follow Him after this series.

Tip: If you have a book or something else coming out, I highly recommend a theme based on that! If your ministry has a core theme, I’d start there–teach what your people already love learning from you. This is your opportunity to provide them with MORE in a different way!

What will I need to submit/do?

This is my favorite part for you because partnering with OWBS makes it so easy to release content like this. See our process above for more details. Just as our members do Bible study in their own space, at their own pace, you also get to record and release your session or series at your own pace and from your own space!

What do you provide for marketing?

We will work with you to create a custom thumbnail design for your series that will be on our website and platform and used for marketing images. In addition, we give you all you need to share with your people! If there’s anything else you need, our team can likely create it!

Can I collaborate with others?

Absolutely! If you’d like to do this with other women you know, they are more than welcome to join you for a group series. Of course, we will need to approve them, but if you endorse them, I’m sure we’ll be fine! (The Affiliate Partner option would be available for them as well.)

How is this different from Youversion or Rightnow Media?

Great question! While we LOVE and fully support all of these ministries and the amazing work that each of them are doing, here’s how we are different:

• YouVersion: YouVersion has amazing resources that support Bible Study, but none that provide elaborated content (beyond a few minutes). You can do a VERY short teaching video in a devotional/reading plan form, however it’s very minimal. YouVersion is committed to helping you grow in the Word, so they do not focus on the teaching (which is great!). At OWBS, you get to teach without time constraints.
• RightNow Media: RNM was created to better support churches, OWBS is created to better support individual women right where they are. In addition, RNM creates highly produced videos. One thing that is a distinction for us is how you feel like you are getting to sit across the table from your favorite teachers–this is a major perk we hear from our members! Finally, if you were to do a video for RNM you would likely not get paid. If you have a large following, then you might get paid but this would be a one time payment and not a continued income stream.
  
  

Can I check out the platform first?

Of course! You and anyone on your team is welcome to check out the platform. When you fill out the interest form, you’ll automatically be given the promo code for free access! 

Are there any other benefits to being an affiliate partner?

• Competitions: We will have EXTRA rewards available for you! For example, when we first launched in Sept 2022, we offered $1,000 to the first person to get 100 subscribers. Then we also offered $1,000 to anyone who got 100 annual subscribers! We will continue offering cash or product bonuses every month in addition to your 50% commission.
• We will share our platform with you! We are offering to our affiliate partners ONLY an option to collaborate on posts. We will share more on this once you are in if you are interested.
• FREE access for you and anyone on your team to all of our Online Women’s Ministries offerings: Online Women’s Bible Study ($99/annual value), Online Women’s Retreat ($49/twice a year), and *coming soon* Online Women’s Discipleship and Online Women’s Workshops!!
